Usage and account limits
Last updated: October 11, 2026. Every AgentRender account has a monthly render allowance and a per-minute rate limit. This page explains how they work, whether you use AgentRender in ChatGPT, through another MCP client, or over the REST API.
Monthly render allowance
- One render is one successful
screenshot, pdf or extract request.
- Requests that fail (for example a blocked or unreachable URL) do not count toward your allowance.
- Allowances are counted per account, per calendar month.
- Reset: usage resets to zero at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of each month.
Per-minute rate limit
- Each account can make a set number of requests per minute, measured over a rolling 60-second window.
- If you go over it, the request is refused with a
rate_limited error. Wait about a minute and try again. Rate-limited requests do not use your monthly allowance.
What happens when you reach your monthly allowance
- New requests are not processed until the allowance resets on the 1st. You get a clear
quota_exceeded message with your allowance and the reset date.
- Nothing else changes: your account, sign-in and settings stay as they are, and requests work again automatically after the reset.
- In ChatGPT, each result shows how many renders are left this month and the reset date.
